I'm an early morning person. Nothing beats dawn with its suggestive atmosphere, its mystery and promises. The new day isn't there yet, it is suggested and its truth is revealed only once it ends. My creative process is much the same. I don't think of an idea, I realise it once it's there and let it reveal itself. Those tracks were made with bits and pieces of samples or instruments, all in one first take. They correspond to the mood and moments of seven days of a week in April 2023 right after waking up, before the sun rises and having a morning coffee while my dear wife is still peacefully asleep next to me. In a way those tracks are about simply being which makes us ready for what comes next.....
