Breathing Fallen Sparrows was recorded during the fall/winter of 2020 in the East Kootenay’s of British Columbia and New York City. The world was still shut-in, and I was reeling from the sudden loss of my mother to cancer. I recorded constantly during this time, both inspired by my raw emotional state and needing to escape from it. BFS is a meandering affair, hazy and imperfect; at times sombre, genuinely hopeful and deeply calm.
