This is a story about curiosity.
When wandering through nature, I quickly find out that I am in no control. This is essential because then I can freely indulge in its spontaneity, revelation, fruitfulness and those mystical shows which nature performing for us. I am just a sole floating observer with a open-minded devotion to dive into the pores and immerse into details and meanings.
My way was to consciously trip on the nature and let the unconscious do the work. By that I was sure that I don’t know anything and was ready to curiously absorb all the magnificent moving distractions. And that’s how the album was unfolding - I just wander and the wonders open up themselves.
The whole journey was beautifully exhausting, filled with various versatile living beings “who do not sweat and whine about their condition, nor lie awake in the dark and weep for their sins”.

Knower is a sonic artist who sways the known into the unknown. Spontaneity and impulsive creativity are his best mates, with which he samples various fragments of life, thus creating weird and ambiguous soundscape experiences. Serbia is his home country, but his mind is cosmopolitan, constantly floating in, out, under, above and beyond the boundaries of consciousness.
The musical range of Knower flows from danceable floors (Collective Sauna EP - Tit Zero Recordings) to floating pillows (Planetarium Exp EP – self-released), constantly exploring cavities of his creative mind, again to meet the marvelous unknown.

Eilean is great at surprising the hell out of me when they find this cyclical, percolating, instrument-rich ambient music. Akin to Eilean's releases from Toàn and Sonmi451 which are two of my most favorite on the label, I'm already certain from the preview songs, that 'Illuminate' will be one of my favorite, most listened to albums of 2019!
