Lost Tribe Sound These battered Pac Northwest coastal recordings display their scars proudly. The corrosive calm of lapping salt water hypnotizes as creature-like fumblings of low end guitar provides the immediacy. It's a weird bag of emotions but it does the trick, equally as fresh sounding as it is eroded by time and the elements.

The field recordings were taken in Haleakalā National Park and throughout the Pacific Northwest. I accumulated the recordings from every camping trip and hike I took in 2020 - 2021.

I recorded acoustic / electric guitars and synthesizers onto tape. I made loops out of the recordings or rerecorded them back to tape. It was important to have the music feel impermanent. I hope that it creates feelings of nostalgia and subtle reminders of disintegration.
