“Furniture Music” is – after “Erik” (2012) and “Vexations” EP. (2014) – the third one from the series of Bionulor’s records dedicated to the person and work of Erik Satie.
This particular one is inspired by Satie’s idea of „musique d'ameublement” , but also – to some extent – by the way John Cage had interpreted the piece “Vexations” during the first public performance.
Bionulor, as always, invites you to deeply immerse yourself in sound... but this time also to use “Furniture Music” while cleaning, washing up, reading, taking a nap or even sunbathing...
Created and produced by Sebastian Banaszczyk 100% sound recycling, source material : ''Gymnopédies'' July 2011 – June 2016

Take the shimmering guitars of the Cocteau Twins, dilate and lengthen with the wistfulness of Boards of Canada and release them like one of Robert Rich’s haunting soundscapes with a jazz coda and you have Carlo Giustini's 'Custodi'. It's brilliant. sepulchre19

The streets we walk along are indeed made of paper, the rubber of our heels erasing every trace of our ever having been here. Still, how wonderful to be here, awash in this cinematic soup with all its transcendent emotions and unfathomable banality. The day I lost my violin was the day I became a poet. If I were a musician like Sven, I could tell you so much more clearly exactly what I mean. Wyndham Rain
