Rinnovare is the project of BC artist Matteo Neufeld. Despite the challenges that came with 2020, he graced the year with many releases. Accompanied on strings by partner Chloe Davidson, and production engineering form Andrew Judah. The first being his modern-classical / dream pop EP titled Aperturia. The next was a double single release with label Ambientologist, from the Netherlands. Followed after that was Rinnovare's re - release of his long sought-after record Suspended Animation. This being an album that was traced around many countries, over the span of six years. It evolved into being a dense, rhythmic & reflective collection of modern-classical, post-rock and ambient hybrid. During the summer of 2020, Rinnovare began to write & record Held Under All, the upcoming record being released on Shimmering Moods Records, from Amsterdam. This is Rinnovare's most nuanced, minimalist, calming & seductive album to date. Featuring acclaimed artist collaborations such as Benoît Pioulard, Voga & Bedroom, a cohesive & sprawling display of wash, texture & beauty has been manifested here. Mixed by Slow Meadow, and mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri, Rinnovare has continuously pursued crystal clear production aesthetic, contrasted with raw & organic atmosphere all over.
