Dimitar's Dodovski's "In Every Direction" enters with a polyrhythmic synth, emerging gradually, incubating something as yet unknown. A shimmer flickers above. Reassuring pads begin to intersperse the mix providing the listener with direction. Stabs and synthetic mallets come to the fore, producing the growing melodic counter rhythms. Fascinatingly complex Druidic electronics create a woozy, heady concoction. A coherent whole more than the sum of its parts this track is a beautiful and intriguing trip.
With the remix by Porya Hatami an electrical haze initiates and envelops. Acoustic string structures follow, cinematic and shining, ebbing and flowing alongside melodies plucked and dowsed in scintillating reverb. Manipulated and processed rhythms emerge from a gentle piano, weaving and moving together. This delicate and meditative remix is a perfect complement to the original.
