"Emotional sound palettes crafted on my Nairobi balcony, with a cheap guitar bought from the local mall. Some days there was smog and others I could hear distant singing. I would reflect on how our surroundings are ever in flux and contrast, shedding diverse signals in a landscape that is uncannily whole. How we feel in any moment is contradictory as we are pulled by the healing, pain, tranquility, and chaos that runs through everything. The result is more intuitive than articulable. These songs are projections of that process, and therefore build on the environment from which they came."
