Of Mountains and Seas is a solo project, creating textured large ambient soundscapes, using new and older gear.

This album is both intimate and personal. Intimate in the sense where I integrated into tracks discussions with my son with samples, and personal because each track represents a place, a moment shared together.

The main theme of the album remains the journey and the discovery of our universe seen through the eyes of my son, but through that, I also evoke more personal themes, like paternity and the difficulty of finding the words to simply answer all the questions my son may have. Are we up to the task, as parents? His growing curiosity surprises me day by day.

But also the passing of time and the fear of seeing one’s child grow up too quickly. My son turned 7 years old in the month of June and I feel like it was yesterday. In the end, the moments spent with each other are the most important, the most precious and that’s what is absolutely to be protected.

Whatever the path or journey undertaken, we will always be there for him and he will meet us at the "home", his anchor point where everyone feels safe.

The most important thing remains the moments shared together and all the love one feels for them.
