akirafilmscript Alexis' music came into my life at a pinnacle time late last year, and I was immediately taken aback. The attention to detail, the moods, the textures, the layers, all seemingly integrated and simple, but so complex when you peel it all back. I can honestly say the music has gotten me through some tough times to come out on the other side for the better. Thanks Alexis! Favorite track: Kerfago (Retour).

about

"Presqu'île" (Peninsula; literally "almost an island" in French) started on December 22. To get serenity in hard times, I started composing acoustic themes. I wanted these songs to work with my growing interest in experimental & ambient music. On March 23, I decided to go to Brittany in a small village called Saint-Gildas de Rhuys to record samples on the beaches that would arrange my compositions. The concept of this album was to make every song a sustainable receptacle of these places. In fact, most of the songs were entitled by the names of the beaches where I recorded the elements (wind, sand, birds etc.)
