When we travel, sometimes human beings need to have a small memory or "Souvenir" of the place where they have been. That Souvenir is what will always take us to that place and specific moment in life and when we look at it, touch it or listen to it, we will always return to those days.
Souvenirs is Rene Lorenzo's debut album on Shimmering Moods Records.
Eight tracks of ambient electronics, from drones to textures that can almost be touched and felt in your space,
slow rhythms and melancholic and intriguing melodies, trying to unite the analog with the digital in harmony.

The use of trumpet in ambient/drone is nothing new but the results in this album are completely intoxicating and have permeated my spirit for a whole week now. I wonder if some of these tracks could have been longer for a more immersive and extended experience, but maybe the briefness of the whole thing is what makes it work so well. Any moment feels good to play it once again and go back inside this dreamy atmosphere. A brilliant way to start this new project! Felicidades desde España! Ego Broken
